This role would suit someone ambitious, curious and eager to develop their media relations skills in a fast-paced agency environment.

Our independent creative advertising and marketing agency is looking for a brilliant PR Account Executive to join a fast-growing team and make a real, tangible impact across the agency.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your experience across an exciting portfolio of well-known brands, including Treasury Wine Estates, Hilton, The Ascott Limited, Creams Café, NOMO and Deezer, and many others, including Skipton Building Society and ByAmazon.

You’ll support the day-to-day running of accounts, help secure impactful media coverage and work closely with senior team members to bring integrated campaigns to life.

Our ideal candidate will:
  • Support the day-to-day running of client accounts, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.
  • Support media sell-ins by developing story angles, drafting pitches, building targeted media lists and securing coverage.
  • Draft compelling media materials, including press releases, bylines, feature copy and briefing documents.
  • Track, report on and evaluate coverage against agreed KPIs.
  • Support influencer activity, from research and outreach to briefing and campaign delivery.
  • Stay organised across multiple accounts, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Build a strong understanding of our clients, their sectors and the media landscapes in which they operate.
  • Provide proactive, seamless support to your Senior Account Manager and help guide junior team members.
  • Contribute creative ideas and cultural insight to brainstorms and campaign development.
Skills and experience required:
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to adapt your tone and style for different brands, audiences and channels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to spot spelling, grammar and formatting errors.
  • A genuine passion for media relations across national news, consumer lifestyle, regional, parenting and other relevant sectors.
  • Strong and relevant media contacts, alongside a clear understanding of the wider media and social landscape.
  • A tenacious approach to media relations, with experience developing sell-in strategies, managing outreach and securing results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work effectively with colleagues, clients and external partners at every level.
  • Sound judgement and a high regard for confidentiality.
  • A creative mindset and the confidence to contribute proactively to brainstorms.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities across several accounts.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
