Job Description
Ever imagined working on a barge?
Get ready for a workplace like no other. Our floating communications and fundraising agency sits in Paddington Basin, where innovation meets purpose, and where every day is a little different.
We believe communications can create meaningful social impact. We work with charities, NGOs, educational and arts organisations, social enterprises and not-for-profit businesses that are all driven by one ambition: to do good, better.
Our partners include organisations working to help more children survive cancer and thrive, support adults with cerebral palsy, improve health through culture and the arts, and create lasting value for local communities. One of our clients is a unique airport company that has delivered more than £500 million to its local authority and surrounding communities.
Now, we're looking for a talented Account Manager to join our team and help us deliver even more impact.
The role:
As an Account Manager, you'll own the day-to-day management of several client partnerships, acting as the essential bridge between our clients and our creative team.
You'll build trusted relationships, understand what matters to each partner and turn their ambitions into effective, engaging communications and campaigns.
You'll be responsible for:
Building strong, trusted relationships with our client partners and providing exceptional account management.
Working collaboratively with our creative team, other agencies and freelance partners to deliver outstanding campaigns and assets.
Refining client briefs and developing clear, effective responses.
Helping shape creative solutions and ensuring outputs meet both client objectives and audience needs.
Championing diversity, equity and inclusion across our work, campaigns and partnerships.
Developing a deep understanding of each client's mission, products, services and audiences.
Managing projects, timelines and budgets to keep work moving smoothly and effectively.
Reviewing and signing off artwork proofs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at every stage.
Evaluating campaign performance and identifying opportunities to optimise activity and increase positive impact.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone who is curious, creative and passionate about using communications to make a difference.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience in account management, ideally within an agency, communications or creative environment.
Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
A keen creative eye and meticulous attention to detail.
Confidence reviewing and signing off creative artwork and campaign assets.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, can-do attitude and the confidence to take ownership.
Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to adapt when things change.
An interest in digital communications, campaigns and emerging trends.
Creativity, positivity and a healthy dose of imagination.
A genuine interest in social impact and the organisations we work with.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who will bring their own perspective, energy and impact to our culture.
What you'll get in return:
A competitive salary.
28 days' holiday.
Flexible working between our barge in Paddington Basin and home.
Ongoing professional development through mentoring and training.
Access to external learning and development resources.
An entrepreneurial culture where new ideas are welcomed and innovation is encouraged.
Plenty of good coffee, tea, sweet treats and fruit.
The opportunity to work on meaningful campaigns with organisations making a genuine difference.
