This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing Energy & Utilities company as a Credit Control Analyst. This role would suit a recent graduate with 1 years experience across Accounting or Bookkeeping

The successful candidate will manage, report on and run an accurate and efficient credit control procedure. The candidate will aim to improve the process with new techniques while working alongside IT development teams.

This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of accounts.

This is an established team which has expanded into a new business area; therefore, as well as the day-to-day functions, we need someone who can learn quickly, help the team develop and streamline the procedures and provide input into IT development.

The role is fully office based ( located in North London - nearest tube is Finchley). The staring salary will be between £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00


Key responsibilities:
  • Responding to relevant and complex client enquiries and delivering excellent service
  • Managing and controlling credit control procedures.
  • Taking a proactive role in managing company debtors
  • Working alongside IT developers and testing new enhancements
  • Identifying areas for process improvements

Skills required:
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred, or a recent graduate with a professional, confident and diplomatic attitude
  • Accuracy and precision
  • Mathematically minded, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as required
  • Good attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts-related queries
  • Knowledge and experience in Excel and ideally accountancy software
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues.
