Our Events client is looking for a CRM Executive to join their established team.

Role Overview
The CRM Executive will support the effective management and optimisation of our database and Hubspot CRM, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and consistency. This role plays a key part in maintaining high-quality data, building out target audiences and enabling marketing teams to deliver well-segmented and compliant campaigns.
Working closely with the CRM Manager, Marketing Managers and reporting into the Director of Data Insights, the CRM Executive will help enrich contact records, map audiences, monitor engagement levels and contribute to campaign delivery and reporting.

This role will start as a 3 month internship on a starting salary of £28,000 p.a. pro rata. Upon successful completion of the internship the plan is for this role to be made permanent.

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality and Maintenance
  • Work alongside Marketing Managers to produce robust Data Strategies and take an integral role in executing these strategies.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency across HubSpot and related systems.
  • Identify and resolve data gaps, duplicates and inconsistencies to maintain a healthy, reliable database.
  • Monitor unsubscribes and data removal requests, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal processes.
  • Enrich existing contact records with missing or updated information, including job titles, company details, industry sectors, product categories etc.
Audience Development and Segmentation
  • Support universe mapping across key sectors to identify total addressable markets, audience reach and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain new contact lists to expand audience reach within priority sectors.
  • Upload and integrate new data sets from third-party lists, events or partners.
  • Assist with campaigns that require data selects or segments from other shows to ensure data is relevant.
  • Work with Marketing Managers to build and refine audience segments for targeted campaign delivery and event promotion.
  • Ensure accurate property field mapping and registration form setup within HubSpot for each event or campaign.
Reporting and Insights
  • Support reporting on data health, engagement levels, audience growth and list/segment effectiveness.
  • Help monitor engagement metrics to identify active vs inactive (unengaged) contacts and flag data that needs refreshing or re-engagement strategies.

Skills and Experience
  • Experience working with HubSpot or a similar CRM platform.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data management.
  • Understanding of data protection and GDPR principles.
  • Comfortable handling data audits, segmentation and enrichment tasks.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations teams.

Success Metrics will include:
  • Data accuracy rates and reduction in duplicates/incomplete records.
  • Growth in high-quality, marketable contacts within key sectors.
  • Engagement metrics and reactivation of inactive contacts
