About the Client

Our client is a market-leading specialist publishing and events business, focused on the private wealth management sector. The business has developed a solid reputation for innovation and integrity over nearly 30 years, producing news, data, analysis and commentary via daily web-based subscription news services

Typically, these advisers are either private asset managers (e.g. private bankers and wealth managers), or other advisory professionals (e.g. private client and family lawyers, tax accountants, trustees, multi-family offices and so on).
The business is based in the City of London, near Bank and Monument tube stations, however team members tend to work on a flexible basis.

Key responsibilities:
  • Creating, managing and developing market surveys for – and gathering and organising data from – the wealth management and private client advisory sectors.
  • Creating robust methodologies to produce accurate data estimates, where corporate or market data is not directly available.
  • Using this data to produce insightful analytics and infographics where appropriate.
  • Working closely with editors to write up analysis based on survey and research results.
  • Keeping track of the editorial calendar to ensure deadlines for published data are met.
  • Attending company and industry events to network and gain market insights.
  • Sourcing and using technology to improve and aid data management processes.
  • Supporting the editorial team where necessary.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude and an ability to think clearly and respond positively under pressure.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills – written and oral.
  • Be able to work independently, as well as part of a broader team.
  • Be able to communicate with a range of stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Have strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Have an interest in wealth management/investment markets/financial services.
Other information:
  • Experience in a research role would be advantageous, but is by no means essential.
  • The role is hybrid, with a flexible work-from-home and office split.
  • A company laptop and phone will be provided.
First interviews will be conducted with the relevant editors. Second interviews will include a task-driven exercise, which will enable us to assess your aptitude
