About the Business:
We are one of the leading plumbing, heating and electrical companies nationally, serving residential and commercial clients throughout South East England  with almost three decades in the industry, we have worked to build a large, fully equipped team of over 150 members of staff – all focused on providing the best quality service to our customers. We work closely with various known housing associations, local councils as well as catering to the private sector such as schools, hotels, care homes and commercial building.

Role Purpose
Support the delivery and improvement of the business’ systems and information security. The Graduate IT Project Manager will coordinate with a third-party IT development partners, assist in implementing system enhancements, manage company IT assets, and help maintain access control and documentation processes across the business.

This role suits a recent graduate with strong technical aptitude and an interest in IT project management, SaaS platforms, and business process automation.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
  • Assist in managing IT projects and software development tasks delivered by an overseas third-party IT provider.
  • Track project progress, update documentation, and ensure deliverables meet the business’ requirements.
  • Liaise between internal stakeholders and external developers to communicate business needs and technical details.

IT Systems & Support
  • Support the administration of company SaaS applications (e.g. BigChange, DocuWare, Freshdesk, Employment Hero, and RingCentral).
  • Maintain user access controls — including account setup, permissions, and MFA policies — ensuring security and compliance.
  • Log and help resolve IT-related issues by coordinating with the company’s Managed Service Provider (MSP).

Hardware & Asset Management
  • Set up and configure new IT assets including PDAs, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Maintain an accurate IT asset register, ensuring all equipment is securely tracked and maintained.
  • Support MDM (Mobile Device Management) enrolment, monitoring systems and security compliance.

Information Security & Documentation
  • Support the implementation of ISO 27001 controls (training provided).
  • Maintain records, policies, and evidence packs for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in documenting IT processes, change logs, and training materials

Data & Integration Support
  • Learn and support simple data integrations or automations using low-code tools (e.g. Power Automate, Apps Script, or VBA).
  • Maintain up-to-date system configuration and integration documentation.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of software systems, databases, and/or APIs.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Interest in developing skills in IT project management, SaaS integration, ISO 27001, and attaining further ISO’s to meet the businesses requirements.

Desirable
  • Some exposure to programming (Python, C++, or scripting).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms or IT infrastructure basics.
  • Prior internship or university project involving systems integration or software delivery.

Working Hours & Benefits
Summer Period (April–September): 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Winter Period (October–March): 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Annual Leave: 28 days inclusive of bank holidays
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (based on industry experience)
