This role will start as a 6 month internship / contract paying £28,000 p.a. pro-rata and will have the potential to move into a permanent position.

As an Account Management Intern, you will support and learn from the leadership team on key accounts, helping to oversee the agency/client engagement and manage the ongoing relationship and co-ordination between client stakeholders and agency delivery teams.

Primarily, the role is to develop client relationships, understand their key challenges, provide strategic programmatic solutions and growth opportunities that deliver clients' success whilst enhancing and executing upon the core pillars of the business.
Key to the role is ensuring strong strategic plans are developed and successfully implemented across your client base. Having a clear understanding of the digital ecosystem that our clients operate within and how first-party data can connect audiences with our client’s key objectives is essential. This includes development of the overview planning process; overseeing briefs, and implementing the strategic insights into the planning process to ensure client resonance.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders and liaise between the commercial and tech/adops departments to create a holistic working team. Specifically, liaising with our sales managers, traders, tech team and our creative team.
- Maintain regular dialogue and check-ins with clients, including pre-campaign kick-offs, mid-campaign check-ins, and post-campaign debriefs, identifying ways to grow client spend with us, through upweights of current activity and/or repeat bookings, working with the Client Services Team to ensure we report on time, and deliver actionable insights on campaigns.
- Ensure all projects undertaken are transitioned into and managed effectively by the team. Delivered on time, on brief and on budget.
- Make sure that all necessary administrative paperwork is completed, e.g. weekly status reports, briefing docs etc.
- Escalate potential issues immediately to ensure swift resolution
Financial
- Ensure all procedures are adhered to, such as purchase orders are acquired.
- Regular forecasting, with the Client Services Team and Sales Team, is required and ensure timely management of changes against forecast to be highlighted to your direct report/the business
Programmatic Media Planning
- Interrogate client briefs and utilise planning tools to deliver plans that will attain client KPIs.
- Develop comprehensive programmatic media plans aligned with client goals and marketing objectives by utilising data-driven insights to identify target audiences.
- Foster strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders on your accounts, leading meetings where required and supporting the wider client services team.
- Enhance performance reports and PCAs with expert knowledge and recommendations.
- Key focus on distinguishing key insights from data and driving a story led response. Whether a brief response, key reports or a PCA.
- Development of strong presentations that address client objectives.
- Over time, understand Programmatic campaign success measurement opportunities and the tools that are involved in this.
Other
- Stay abreast of Industry news, and circulate this to the wider team, focusing on what our competitors are doing, what your clients are doing, and general industry news and trends.
- Assist the Sales team at Sales Events.
